Re: Printer Setup in COS

Hey- I have an Epson Wifi printer and I am trying to set it up in Commodore OS 2.0. I don't see anywhere to set up a printer in System Administration or control center. I'm sure I am missing something easy. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks... Bruce (I check the forums regularly, do...

Re: C64 emulator keys not working

Howdy Bruce, Good to meet another newcomer to the COSV environment. I've also had some issues with VICE emulation as, of course because of my age, I was not born in the time of Commodore or raised around its ecosystem. However, I have a solution to your problem. https://vice-emu.sourceforge.io/vice...

Re: Trials and Tribulations With Satisfaction

Do you know if the latest Debian works as expected on your laptop? Because if it does, that's a good argument for me to crank up working on COS3. I hope you don't mind, but as your hardware is kinda unique I'm going to change the topic heading to be more specific. Got my hands on the newest Debian ...

Dell G5 5505 Laptop issue

May as well do a little diary given my woes with bare metal COSV. I reinstalled COSV with the intent to daily drive until my subsequent C64x or VIC build. And I ain't giving up simply because the distro is just, plain and simple, my dream distro. I was never a fan of MINT anyways, ha ha. Not that it...

Re: Glad to be a part of the forum!

Welcome to the forum Rudi. Sorry to hear the COS installation didn't work out for you. Perhaps I can help. Which Virtual Machine were you using? What dGPU model are you having an issue with? (If you reply I will move it to the issues thread) The main problem could be an outdated kernel. You might w...

Glad to be a part of the forum!

Howdy COSV community, Name's Rudi. I'm a dude just into retro stuff. In hindsight I should've wrote this intro earlier when I was more awake, but oh well. I've considered moving full-time to COS since its earliest development in the early 10's, but the project of course was ditched. A few days ago a...
