Re: Update and preorder new C64
I did the same - ordered the beige one, and two controllers and a hat, all for myself. Looking forward to the future of Commodore, and potentially getting Amiga back into the fold (fingers crossed)... and looking forward to seeing what they have in store for modern tech, like the C64X and Commodore ...

I must say Leo, I am enjoying Commodore Vision OS, and look forward to seeing how it progresses moving forward with you and the team bringing back Commodore.
Cheers to the future of Commodore Vision OS.

As a Patreon of Retro Recipes I'm aware... and I spent over $450 today... It felt good.

Re: First week with COS 3.0
I have been mostly using it for normal stuff at home, as a daily computer in my man-cave. I have been using VS Code to do some python game making of a retro styled graphical text adventure game. Otherwise I browse a few forums, catch up on some news, etc... I am a retro gamer, and have messed with g...

Re: Commodore OS Tweaking
Was messing around with the Amiga and C64 emulators a little yesterday, used my MSI to get the roms loaded via the Visions integration options (2). Games from Cloanto that came over with the integration work, but anything else I try to load of my own I always get a syntax error (on the C64). I didn'...

Re: Anyone used RCBASIC?
I'll for sure check into RCBASIC down the road. I like the idea of it being a new/modern basic language for Commodore as I look forward to what is on the horizon.
Awesome to see this happening...

Re: Time for another nostalgia trip..
In the 17th and 18th centuries, people with 'nostalgia' were considered to have a mental illness.
Lock me up!
Great post - I too am looking forward to seeing how things pan out with Commodore.

Re: Commodore buy
I use VS Code - have had no issue. I started the coding over on a Pi-400 and recently moved it over to Optiplex with Commodore Vision OS to work on bug fixes. Super easy to use and can install any packages I may need. I only taught myself Python a couple years ago as a winter project, wasn't hard to...

Hello from Wisconsin
Was not much into computers or games that much in the late 70s and early 80s. My family did have a 2600, and I liked playing Adventure and Raiders of the Lost Ark. It wasn't until 1985 when I went to a cousin's house and saw his C64 that I started to get interested. I think the first game I played w...

Re: Commodore buy
Well, I am totally onboard with it. I hope it will happen. I can see it being good for the purists who love the original hardware, those looking for something more modern like with the C64x, and those in between that blend old with new like FPGA. There are many things that can be done to accommodate...
