Shortcut for Workspaces (solved)

Post by grapster »

Hi All,
I was able to install Commodore OS 2.0 on my Lenovo laptop (whoo hoo), and am slowly configuring my desktop Workspaces. I have installed various applications (Windows software with Wine (Adobe Audition), Debian applications (Master PDF Editor 5), and fonts).

Is there a keyboard shortcut to switch between Workspaces ? The Dock at the bottom of the desktop can sort of switch workspaces after the application is started (i.e., Command Line Interface in Workspace 1, Mozilla Firefox in Workspace 2, etc.).

Hi Grapster,

The most prominent keyboard shortcuts for Commodore OS are displayed via the menu option:
System --> Commodore OS --> Display Keyboard Shortcuts
You might find some other options in the Commodore OS menu interesting.....

The key combo you are looking for is:
Flip to Workspace Right = CTRL + ALT + Right Cursor Key
Flip to Workspace Left = CTRL + ALT + Left Cursor Key

Not to mention you can select a workspace from the top right workspace squares.
Or you can select a workspace from a preview with: Commodore Key + SPACE OR Mouse Wheel Click

Also, I do notice a slight omission in the shortcut text.
Desktop Cube is actually: CTRL + ALT + Left Mouse Button and Mouse movement.
That's a fun way to check out your workspaces!!!

Cheers.
