Kernel Update (issue?)

Post by Vic20-Ian »

I did a Kernel update and got a warning about USRMERGE being needed.

Has anyone complete this one way change and does the OS still work fine afterwards?

Did you use the following (top) menu option to update the kernel?

System --> Commodore OS --> Install Latest Linux Kernel

At the moment this should bring you up to kernel 6.11.7 (stable)

I am not noticing an error.

I did it from the bottom application menu, commodoreos, update linux kernel after updating the Commodore OS.

I did it from the top menu now and get the same.

Current 6.11.5 AMD64 kernel is installed

Sending a log file for the error.
