KeyMap Error in C64X Keyboard

Post by daveyk021 »

Try doing Shift-ESC to get the "~" approximate symbol (which I use a LOT). It doesn't work. FNCT-SHIFT-ESC does, but boy is that awkward to remember and when typing fast.

The algorithm in the key mapping to USB might have an error in it. Can this be fixed? Can we upgrade the keyboard firmware ourselves?

You raise a good point. I feel like I remember reading about this before.
