COS 3.0 Release Date Pushed Back to April 22nd, 2025

I am extremely disappointed to have to inform you that a last minute technical issue has blocked today's release.

This was not the news post I was expecting to put out today.

I've been literally working around the clock for the last week to put the finishing touches on Commodore OS 3.0 before its release, and was finally pleased that it was ready to ship. However, on the very last ISO generation(of all times) I've had a technical issue that seems to have resulted in data loss that has broken the system boot up on the VM I'm using to create the ISO. I've spent a few hours pulling my hair out trying to fix the problem and have determined that I will not be able to. In order to proceed I must go back to an earlier backup from a few days ago and reconstruct the numerous changes that were made since during final testing. I am totally gutted as everything had seemingly come together quite well. Given the timing of the problem and commitments I have this week, I would see the release date realistically being pushed back until shortly after Easter. I will now tentatively place the release date as Tuesday APRIL(!) 22nd.
