I was reading the installation instructions for VMWare, and it states I should start the VM and install DirectX End User Runtime from Microsoft Downloads. I can't find a version of this software for Linux, which is what Commodore OS Vision is running under.
My other question is whether the Commodore OS Vision 3.0 is able to run under a Linux VMWare Workstation, or Windows VMWare Workstation only.

Re: DirectX End User Runtime, VMWare Workstation Linux
Hopefully someone on the forum can provide assistance.
I don't use VMware personally (and I'm reluctant to start yet another new thing), and I was grateful a forum contributor provided those instructions.
My preference would be to use VirtualBox wherever possible which I know works excellently (if you set it up right and give it enough resources!).
