There needs to be a way to identify products made with Commodore Basic. There should also be some thought given to a customized Python development environment. We may well see the revival of physical cartridges or boxed software sets. Perhaps even Commodore's own app stores.
On physical storage media, this would be like a sticker. Part of the effect would be to encourage developers who want standardized and supported environments.

Re: A logo for Commodore Basic and other platforms
BTW it's Commodore OS BASIC
There was quite a bit of deliberation within the new Commodore team about the naming of a new custom BASIC within Commodore OS.
A proposal was to call it Commodore BASIC X to align with the nomenclature of the C64x, but it was discovered that this would be stepping on the toes of the fantastic Mega64 team's efforts who are actually developing Commodore BASIC 10, an iteration on the original classic Commodore BASIC family.
They kindly provided the open source ROM that is distributed for free with Commodore OS to which I am grateful.
