Tips for the best gaming experience

Hi Everyone,

SOLIDIFY WINDOW
If you play a game in windowed mode the window will likely appear transparent.
Tip: If you maximise the window it will go solid (except the CLI window).
Tip: When moused over any window, you can hold the ALT key and use the mouse wheel to slide the transparency to solid.

ZOOM
There are a few games that do not have a full screen mode and will only play within a small window.
Tip: If you hold the Commodore key(Windows key) and apply the mouse wheel, you can zoom and centre into the window.

HIDING DESKTOP MENU
In some instances a game will go full screen but still have the Commodore OS desktop menu appearing at the top. (mostly effects DOSbox).
Sometimes the VICE emulator will hide its window bar under the desktop menu when in windowed mode.
Tip: Click the < or > buttons on the edges of the menu to make the menu disappear (mostly).
Doing this prior to running the game will sometimes trick the game into running full screen properly.

KILL PROGRAM
Sometimes, you will encounter a troublesome game or app that has crashed or will refuse to stop. I have tried to avoid these.
Tip: To the left of the workspace section on the main menu is a button with the "Prohibition Sign" (Circle with slash through it)
which will allow you to mouse over and kill a troublesome app. Pressing Alt and F4 keys usually work too as they do in MS-Windows.

FREE LINUX GAMES
54 of the best Linux games can be automatically installed from the Commodore OS menu. Not all of them open up Full Screen by default, and need to be configured. The same goes for game controllers, which may also need to be configured when they support them.
