BBS lists for PCMANX

UPDATE: When trying to save the new list I always get "permission denied" I also cannot change 'permissions' as I am not the owner. ???
Hi,
I would like to try out pcmanX 1.3 BBS Client but the BBS's listed are all in Chinese.
I went to a site telnetbbsguide.com and downloaded a list, then found the sitelists file under file system usr/share/Commodoreos/ for pcmanx program and then opened that file, deleted everything and copied the new list in to it. I then tried to save the file but got told that I cannot save the new sitelist file.
Is there a way to save the new list or am I stuck with Chinese sites.
