Okay it is not really an issue but more a preference. So every time i start COS3 i get a startup sound. Although the sounds are nice but i would prefer to turn that off.
I found an option to control the list of music but i don´t know how to turn it off completely.
Is there a way to do this?

No, you're right, there isn't and there should be.
In the next update I'll put an option in the Settings Manager and try to make sure nothing slips through.
Maybe you'll get that next week.

In the meantime, I know it would be cumbersome, as there are so many, but you could try commenting out or removing all the sound file commands listed.
Also, if you like one and only one sound, you could leave that uncommented to play on startup.
You an also add a reference to the sound file of your liking. There are parameters for the seconds until fade-out.

If anyone would like to play through each of the jingles sequentially the command is: Just ignore the errors.

If you would like to listen to Commodore OS RADIO as per the loader. (which may be new to those with pre-installs) the command is:

I didn't have sound hooked up when I installed Commodore OS -- so hearing the radio was pretty cool.

I enjoyed many of the songs -- but how do I stop it?

Ummm....Reboot?

I think if you close the terminal window, and press the Kill Music button on the top menu bar at the far right (but before the workspaces).
Actually, it only kills it temporarily.
You have to kill any instances of RADIO that are running in the background via the System Monitor.
I might make it do that under that Kill Music icon button too in an update next week.

Okay, thanks for the reply. I will try to play with that list to see what is does. Also if you need someone to test stuff out on new installations and such let me know.
I have several pcś i can try stuff out on. I just use different hard drives/ssd to test it out. No problemo.
