MX Linux utilities

We see seem to be misisng the basic configuration utilities for MX Linux that this distro is forked over from, the biggest problem is that the Disks utility or at least the partition manger is nowhere to be found.

What I'm looking to do is to expand a partition to use the unallocated space on the second hard drive.

Can I just install GParted?

GParted seems to be installed on v3.0.
Menu item => Applications => System Tools => GParted Partition Editor

I ran it and it seemed functional, I did not change any partitions.
Seems to be there. Let us know if that helped.

The MX Tools/Utilities are under System Tools.

It did, and I accomplished my objective, thanks.

GParted is absolutely awesome.
Also, if you want to resize the partition that Commodore OS is actually installed on, you can do that from the Live USB and it won't blow away your files.
I have done that quite a few times.
