C128 Emulation Crash

Every emulation is running fine, but C128 crashes immediately after invocation. I recognized that Vice 3.5 is an old version, the actual version is 3.8.
I installed 3.8 but this tells me something about some missing libs that are only available with Bookworm. Upgraded to Bookworm but this ended in a total disaster without COS GUI but only terminal output. So I reinstalled everything from scratch, back to original COS2.0. All emulations are running fine but C128 crashes. Do you have any idea?

Did you follow the instructions and tips available from top menu?

System --> Commodore OS --> Cloanto Commodore ROM Setup

I have a licensed C64forever from Cloanto on my Windows partition and installed all the ROMs like stated in the mentioned instruction and let CommodoreOS do the rest of the setup.

Commodore@Commodore /usr/share/commodoreos/roms/8-bit
READY.
ls -l
total 1716
edit by Admin: File list removed.

Which operation would you like to perform? [1/2/3/4]:3
Setting up Commodore 8-bit emulators....
Configuring C64...
Configuring C128...
Configuring VIC-20...
Configuring PLUS/4...
Configuring PET...
Configuring CBM-II...
Configuring Commodore Disk Drives...

Setup complete. Enjoy!!!

C64, VIC-20, PLUS/4, PET, CBM-II are running still fine.

There may be a problem with Option 3 of the Cloanto 8-bit ROM set up.
Or perhaps there is a corrupted file or a file has been omitted for some reason.
Please select option 1 instead and assuming you have an internet connection.....
Download the free express version of C64 Forever and allow the MSI file to download again.
(I would suggest everyone really just select Option 1 upon a new COS installation)
It should set up all the ROMs correctly and it won't require Windows.
If you purchase a licensed edition you will likely need to copy any extras manually.
