3D switched back to 2D? How to fix.

EDIT: WARNING!! Wait! Don't do it until I've tested some more. It may have caused some instability I see on subsequent boot ups. Let me confirm.
Some machines can sometimes glitch out the 3D accelerated graphics under load and fall back to the Marco 2D desktop compositor.
As it occurs to me that this might be something that is happening to others.
To instantly repair this problem, simply go to Mate Tweak.
System --> Preferences --> Look and Feel --> MATE Tweak
Then select the Windows icon.
Then at the bottom you will see a dropdown for "Window Manager"
If "Compiz Advanced GPU..." is selected switch to "Marco"(any one of them) then switch back to "Compiz Advanced GPU..."
If you don't like all the 3d Window graphics you might like one of the Marco options better.
I will be moving this to the guides shortly.
