Mouse stuck in upper right corner (solved?)
Posted: Thu Nov 07, 2024 8:37 pm
The mouse gets stuck in upper right corner and four C= desktops are zoomed in and out, in and out,..
I have not used a Torrent sens 15 years so i downloaded the iso.
I then downloaded Rufus as suggested.
But windows did not like Rufus at first..and i almost gave up.
But after some fiddling around in the Winows 10 anivirus and "allowed" Rufus it worked.
After a few more attempts Rufus finally did make a bootable Commodore OS 2.0 USB.
I then tried to install it on the "Commodore PC" on a newly bought SSD only for this Commodore OS.
I disconnected the Windows HDD and Restarted.
I Changed the boot order, disabled secure Boot and save and exit, and reboot.
The Commodore USB started fine So i changed language and keyboard, and preceded the start.
Everything looks good so far.. and finished to the C= desktop.
But right when i am getting to the desktop the mouse gets stuck in upper right corner,
and 4 C= desktops are zoomed in and out, in and out,.. and the mouse gets stuck in upper right corner.
At the best i can press shift or ctrl to stop the zooming and switch beetween desktops..
But then Im not able to write, or click anyting..
Tried again, with new mouse and keyboard. Same result.

Tried again, with old mouse and keyboard changed USB ports and the Nvidia GTX 970 again,
and in default language and keyboard. Same result.
Tried again AND proceeded through the Commodore OS agreement prompts and installed the Commodore OS,
and it worked for 1 min, then Same result. 4 C= desktops are zoomed in and out, in and out, in and out, in and out.. and the mouse gets stuck in the upper right corner.
I tried to make a new USB, so I downloaded Etcher this time but then i got this error:
"Error: (0, h.requestMetadata) is not a function"
What.. ???? is the downloaded ISO the problem?
So I downloaded a Torrent and got the ISO from torrents.
And used Etcher to make a new bootable USB from the torrent ISO.
Now i did it on a third PC so the result should be totally NEW.
But same result.
4 C= desktops are zoomed in and out, in and out, in and out, in and out.. and the mouse gets stuck in the upper right corner.
Memtest passed. 48/48. 100%. 3h19min
The PC woorks good in Windows 10 on a HDD.
The same problem occurs when on the bootable USB for installation,
and on the installed Commodore OS SSD.
This have taken all free time this week but Im not used to giving up,
but i don't know what else to do right now.
I need hands on tips and clearly explained tips because English is not my language.
Thanks
