Switching between Intel and Nvidia graphics

Post by stevenmcgeorge »

Hello,

Does anybody know the easiest way to be able to switch between Intel and Nvidia graphics when using a hybrid setup in Commodore OS Vision?

Thanks

I gather by hybrid setup you mean you have an nVidia card on a PC capable of also providing Intel graphics.
From personal experience, I think any time you install the proprietary nvidia drivers you're stuck with them.
Otherwise I believe Linux should just detect your graphics hardware and use the appropriate open source driver.
Does a hybrid setup require the proprietary nVidia drivers to access the nVidia graphics?
