If you backtrack steps what did you do prior to the issue? Updates?

I added it under CLI with /usr/local/share/ca-certificates and ran sudo update-ca-certificates

Can you please help? I am trying to find where I can import my certificate authority for use with my proxy. If anyone knows how to do this in the GUI please yet me know.

Thanks for the reply, Yes this is the Virtual Box version. I obtained the VDI from https://archiveos.org/commodoreos/ they have several AMD images ISO, and one VDI file. I will destroy this virtual machine and start a new one with the bit torrent you sent. I haven't used bit torrents in 20+ years so...

If I navigate to cd ~ and go into etc, I think I have got everything, I just do not know the command to kick off the install.

Can you please help? I have downloaded a VDI image however I am stuck in basic and can not get the nice GUI to start. Does anyone know how to get the GUI to run?
How do I get into the nice GUI?
