the specific game im having trouble with is reported to play on linux with proton on steam flawlessly. the d3d11 error refers to direct x so far today i have reinstalled vision os updated os installed steam and proton experimental, am forcing game to un experimental as well as enabled the steam game...

there seems to be alot of good info here that may help me with a similar issue i am having(d3d11 error playin games on steam) . i could ise help determining which nvidia driver i need though.
