playing non steam games on steam

3 sleepless nights chasing a nvidia driver issue i was never able to resolve and it is looking like wine is the answer.

trying to play deep rock galactic on steam(windows only game) i kept getting a d3d11 error refering to dxvk or the lack of direct x.

today on accident i ended up playing around in the synaptic package manager and boticed wine support for this in a description

this has been very frustrating hoping to have it resolved and the fix posted soon
