Hi, my name is Chelsea, but you can call me Cheez if you want.
I'm usually a Speccy enthusiast (even though I'm from 'murica) but I couldn't help but to check things out here after seeing something about the new C64X on a Speccy discord.
Anyhow, since I just discovered this ting, I've yet to get the C64X or even install Commodore OS Vision 2.0 onto one of my computers, but I am fascinated by the persistence of the Commodore brand and the world of retrocomputing in general.
In any case, I'll be mostly lurking tbh, but feel free to say hi whenever. <3

Re: Hello there.
wow, that has to be the most cheezy intro ever!
haha, just kidding!
Yeah, it's amazing that Commodore still holds a place in so many peoples hearts.
I think the reason why that is -- is because it was a technological frontier.
We went from riding our bikes around the streets and hiding in closets on a dial phone to: a COMMODORE!
My bike went rusty and I never looked at another phone again, lol.
The whole scene was so exiting, not to mention fun.
I think this new c64 is the best thing ever. It took me seconds after watching Retro Recipes video to make the decision that I was going to buy one.
The fact that I'm a full time Linux user amplified that decision quite greatly!
