Good evening, I've been trying to start Assembly64 for 3 days now via an icon and or via the menu. unfortunately I can't get it. and why doesn't anything happen? see image???
Assemnly64 is a shell script, you have to start it with the start argument. but doesn't work either.
I'm grateful for any help. Apparently I'm really stupid.
greetings from Germany..

Have you made the file executable? It's a flag you can set from the file properties.
Or just
Or just
Code: Select all
chmod +x ~/Downloads/assembly64/assembly64.sh

Does Assembly64 require a subscription? Password?

Re: Shell Script Assembly64 starting from menu???
First of all, thank you for the answer.
Yes, Assembly64 needs an email address and a password, but this is stored in the program.
I start Assembly64 from the cli terminal with "sh Assembly64.sh start" . It's annoying in the long run to call up the CLI terminal every time and type the command every time. That's why I wanted to create an icon or add it to the top of the menu. Unfortunately it doesn't start that way.
and yes it is execuable see picture.
