POKE 788,80

Post by jzagibl »

(or 82 if NTSC I think) ...is the best single C64 POKE ever, IMO :geek:

Old C64 and Amiga user. Original owner (we are now called "retro," which is more complimentary than old, I suppose..?) and an "on and off casual" PC gamer - if there is such a thing anymore given that most games these days seem to require the time investment of a second job. When I'm not messing around on my C64, I can be found mapping the galaxy in Elite: Dangerous

Thank you very much for putting together an interesting Distro - it's a great collection of tools and UI themes, and the bootloader skin just makes me smile. Plenty of things to play with and a set of interesting choices for demos etc. included in the image. I hope you are able to continue such things for a long time to come - I am biased though :)

Hopefully there are long term plans to carry on refreshing Commodore OS, particularly as Debian moves forward. Honestly, I'd be happy to buy a C64x and run C=OS as a main games machine, but it would need to run updated game platforms (Bullseye Lutris is 5.8?...ouch) drivers, and WINE.

Here's to the future!
...hang on, that doesn't sound quite right?

Welcome Jzagibl.

COS3 is in the works! It's got all that and a bit more. :D
I'm already thinking of things for COS4.
