I’m gpowerf and I wanted to introduce myself. I currently own two TheC64 Maxis and a Mini. I don’t just play C64 games—I also enjoy tinkering with coding, both in BASIC and XC=BASIC.

I’ve put together a small text adventure called 8-Bit Island, which you can find here: https://gpowerf.itch.io/8-bit-island
. I’m not especially proud of it, but it is very much C64-themed.

Right now, I’m working on a more generic text adventure template that will make it much quicker to create new adventures. My tool-set is Vice, Petcat, c1541, xc=basic, VS Code, Linux, etc... Using my modern PC to code for the C64.
