I started out at 8yrs old on a Timex Sinclair 1000, about 2 years later Dad gave in and got me a Radio Shack Color Computer 2. I could mow lawns by then (yeah back then at 10 you could mow lawns lol) and saved money for the CoCo 3. Got it the next year, saved up for all the accessories and then a 300 baud MODEM! Oh my gosh can you believe it? BBS stuff? Then I found out about "REAL" computing on a C64 from all the message boards and programs I couldn't run from most boards.
So... more lawns to mow, and more selling/trading... and guess what I finally got next?
I'm really stoked to hear we might be getting Commodore back and into the hands of a fan driven organisation. How crazy would it be if even half of the ideas discussed were to come to fruition? I know I'm all in
