Greetings Programs!

Post by kalarous »

Just another aging GenXer here in the wild woods of Western Wisconsin. My story starts back in the early 80s when my Aunt and Uncle gave me my first computer, a Commodore VIC20. Learned to make that thing sing and dance for me. Over the course of the next number of years managed to get my hands on C64D, SX64, and the 128. Longed for an Amiga of my very own... Ran a few bbs's back in the day. Most fondly was "Shades of Light BBS" running Colour 64. I'll never forget showing my dad 2400 baud speeds for the first time (heady back in the day). His response was "I don't like it". When I asked him why, the answer was priceless - "I can't read that fast." Adventures have continued to this day with Commodore and Amiga Forever (yea, I keep upgrading that too.) When not screwing around with retro tech, I stay busy in IT as a sr cloud engineer / Chief IT 'whack-a-moler'. In my spare time I enjoy time with friends and family and am an avid Sugar Maker (Maple Syrup). Looking to run commodore OS natively on a spare M100 chassis I have lying about that isn't doing much since I've repeatedly purchased the Commodore Roms from Cloanto.

So, to all my fellow ChickenLip aficionados I bid y'all a fond howdy!
