Re: Rpi5?
I agree, Pi4 would make a very affordable C64x. My concern is storage. A hat with a Sata port maybe? Would a Pi hat fit in the case? I think Nvme would be overkill and add to the cost, which would defeat the purpose. Can't wait to see your exclusive feature. Thanks

Re: OS Vision 3
Thanks, I'm not a SystemD fan either. Are there any additional repositories you recommend, Guix maybe?

Re: OS Vision 3
What init system does vision 3 use? I may need SystemD to install some packages. Thanks

CM5 has options for up to 16GB SDRAM and up to 64GB eMMC. Rasberry has a IO board for it, but its not mini-ITX. Maybe the C64x case could be modded to fit? There is a 6 module mini-ITX cluster board for CM4 but the m.2 slots are on the back, which does not fit the C64x case as I understand it. If we...

Rpi5?

Just spitballing a future project idea, could be kinda fun. I don't know a lot about Rpi's though. Any suggestio...

Re: Introductions
Hi everyone. When I was a kid, my family had a TRS 80 CoCo2. Later, when I was in high school, I bought an old Ti 99/4a at a garage sale. I always wanted a C64 but never had the money. I graduated and joined the Navy, but by the time I got out Commodore was no more. So, the C64 is the itch that neve...
