Sick of playing whack-a-mole with bots!

They keep coming thick and fast.
No sooner do I delete a user than another one registers and posts nonsense.
I keep adding questions to the registration....such that it is starting to get silly.
And they keep getting through....
Not sure what to do. Any ideas?

I've seen the same bot names come up, so I am now permabanning them and deleting their posts separately.
Let's see if that makes a difference.

Here we go again.
I'm spending about 15 minutes a day at the moment banning and deleting posts.
And half of them aren't even in English.
And then they use html tags which aren't even applicable to the forum.
Why is vandalism like this a thing?
It takes about 5 or 6 clicks to ban the person and delete the post.
Why can't they make a 1 click you're banned and all your posts are deleted function?
Makes me want to write one.
