Re: Potential HW purchase
Anything with Intel graphics would usually work like a charm, however the newer boards like N100(similar to the hardware you specified) which are typically used in NUCs these days have issues with COS2, that will be resolved with COS3 coming out quite soon. I know I keep saying that, but I'm even mo...

Re: Graphics corruption AMD RX 6800 XT (Solved)
Not near a computer at the moment but I think you could use the locate command. locate .xsessionrc Actually before you try that can you check if the following works instead. It's a Ryzen graphics fix that may be applicable here. xrandr --verbose|grep TearFree xrandr --output HDMI-A-0 --set TearFree ...

Re: Stuck on Log In Screen after grub rescue
Please try the following when booting and running the Live USB image. In the Commodore OS 2 top menu: System --> Commodore OS --> Restore Boot Menu It may be contingent on COS and grub is installed on your first hard disk before Windows. It'll be initiated from the upcoming settings app in Commodore...

If you boot up the live image via usb there is an option in the System --> Commodore OS menu that might help that resets the grub bootloader on the hd. I'm not sure it will work in your case but it is worth a try.

That is so cool. I wonder how the Commodore OS version differs from the Linux version.

Re: Dual Booting Between COS2 and Win11?
Just watched it. Looks great. I'll have to try it out. I've been convinced my problem is hardware but maybe this will solve it. Thanks for the video. Once I try it out to confirm it works universally, I'll put a link to your video within the installation instructions. I wonder if there is a way to s...

Re: COS 3 Project sources
The OS is linux based which is open source for the most part. It's lineage goes back to Debian through MX-Linux. I'm not entirely sure if MX-Linux included closed source software. Some of the included games would be closed source as would some proprietary hardware drivers. In COS2 you will see that ...
