Re: Volume at full - HELP
Currently the volume only gets set to 80% for the SID tunes on startup. I will change it in the next update so it sets sound to 80% on all startups. I will also make a setting in the settings manager so you can set the startup volume percentage. FIXTODO Nothing wrong with tinkering. Make it do exact...

Re: Installation successful
Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I appreciate that some people like to turn off some of the graphical effects, and it is easy enough to do. It is labeled to be easy to find. The thought at the time was, to convey the incredible graphics ability of the Commodore OS desktop and thus increase its desirabi...

Re: Volume at full - HELP
Have you performed an update? I remember specifically setting the volume to 80 percent on start up. I'll have to check. Maybe I should make this a setting.

Re: Mame Roms
Try the Multi-System Emulator (Mednaffe) for SNES emulation. (I couldn't get the sound working, but maybe you'll have better luck) It's the second entry under Emulators. I would recommend you pop your SNES games in the /usr/share/commodoreos/systems/Nintendo folder. Maybe make a "SNES" fol...

Commodore OS3 Update Build 43 Released.
This online update hopefully addresses many forum feature suggestions and user issues. New Features were added to the Commodore OS Settings manager: * The Commodore icon in the dock now launches directly to the "Commodore" folder rather than the "System" menu. You can switch this...

Re: Simple upgrade to OS 3.0 from 2.0
The main reason for updating is for the latest hardware support. I tried my best to automate an update from v2 to v3, but it turned out incredibly buggy and resulted in the equivalent of a complete re-install anyway. I also built some new things into COS3 in an effort to make it worth the upgrade, a...
